AN EVOLVING ENCLAVE

Galloway’s forested hills and hollows have entranced denizens and patrons for decades. The neighborhood has long been a popular spot for those exploring the Galloway Creek Greenway, picnicking at Sequiota Park or visiting its shops, spas and restaurants. Places like Galloway Grill, Firehouse Pottery and 4 by 4 Brewing Company are tucked into its naturally sloping terrain. Mature deciduous trees offer copious shade and running water babbles near the trails. This is a neighborhood that’ll have you at hello.

OUR COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABILITY

We preserved and reused existing trees, improved the water quality of Galloway Creek Watershed and installed green-energy systems during development. Our high-end, sustainable building materials include countertops from a local quarry. And we incorporated easy ways to recycle. We built Quarry Town this way because we love the Galloway neighborhood, and we want to see it flourish for decades to come. Let’s leave this beloved community better than we found it.

HISTORY OF GALLOWAY

Named for a Union Army officer, Galloway Village got its start as a township way back in the 1880s. It gained attention during construction of the Frisco Railroad and Depot, when an entrepreneur found quality limestone nearby. Throughout the early 1900s, families from all over the region traveled by train to Galloway to enjoy long weekends fishing, picnicking and caving at Sequiota Park.
